VersiWall® consists of easy-to-install, low-maintenance vertical greening systems that offers a variety of mounting, planting density and growth media options to suit different installation requirements.
VersiWall® GP (VGP) offers architects and developers flexible and cost-effective solutions to create environmentally beneficial and aesthetically inspired living walls. The flexibility of the systems allows architects and designers the freedom to articulate aesthetically pleasing green walls anywhere using a palette of plants to enhance spaces with green walls, creating inspired, environmentally beneficial habitats to live and work in. The tray systems enable choice of a variety of mounting, planting density and growth media options to suit different installation requirements.
- VGP Trays have been designed for ease of installation with multiple mounting options being available.
- VGP Trays have also been designed with safety in mind by providing each tray with a locking mechanism to prevent trays from being accidentally dislodged – either by human or natural causes.
- VGP Trays have water reservoirs. some with a cover designed for the provision of a capillary wick to re-use stored water and facilitate sustained plant growth.
- VGP Trays are designed to accept different mounting options best suited for each specific installation.
- VGP Trays are manufactured from UV-stabilised recycled polypropylene, are recyclable and meets all requirements for international Green Building certification.
- VGP are available in a fire-resistant variant which meets the Singapore Fire Code requirements for toxicity emissions, smoke density and fire spread. This means that VGP can be utilised for both outdoor and indoor green wall installations where specific building code regulations must be adhered to.
- Maintenance – VGP Trays can be individually replaced or removed for wall maintenance or design change.
- Design Flexibility – Flexible vertical and horizontal tray spacing allows variable plant density and design options.
- Water Re-use – The VGP Tray base reservoir enables re-use of stored water/fertiliser through self-irrigation.
- Water Detention and Retention – External VGP Green Walls help mitigate the impact of urban stormwater runoff by reducing the discharge to storm drains during periods of heavy downpour.
- Efficient Drainage – Drainage outlets allows excess water to flow into underlying trays or to be channelled away through fitted discharge pipes thus preventing spillage and enabling irrigation water to be recycled.
- Tray Width – 200mm to 500mm wide trays permits easy planting and allows room for plants to branch out as they grow.
- Soil Volume – VGP Holds at least 1.8 litres of soil, equivalent to a 150 mm diameter planting pot.
- Reduced Energy Costs – radiation is minimised through vegetated walls which ensures cooler buildings in the summer and warmer buildings in winter.
- Better Sound Protection – exterior noise transfer is minimized.
- Improved Environment – plant species minimize greenhouse gas emissions, pollutants are adsorbed onto growth media particles and plant species provide a habitat for a diverse range of fauna.
- Improved Property Value – Planted green walls increase the ‘permeable to hard-stand’ ratio of buildings and improves its aesthetical appearance.
- Sustainable and Environmentally Friendly – VGP is made from recycled plastics and support
- Green Label Certification.
- No specialised installation equipment required.
